Here we had a lovely house, that had a very unbalanced, poor kitchen layout.
The Utility was too large and the kitchen too small, so we removed the dividing wall and built a stud wall further back. Moving the external utility / rear door over to suit. We also removed the chimney breast and installed steels above the ceiling line, this allowed us to design a good layout.
We used bespoke 1150 mm high wall units, 350mm deep. Overall we increased worktop space, and storage by around 30%. We also created a Alcove to take the American Fridge Freezer, moving the Utility wall enabled this. Underfloor heating and all the flooring was all carried out by our fitting team. All the Steel calculations approved in house.
