GENERAL

These conditions of sale apply to goods supplied by Blok Designs Ltd Company no. Any Quotation given by The Company is an invitation to you to place an order with The Company only. No contract exists between you and The Company for the sale of any goods until The Company has received and accepted your order and the initial deposit as cleared funds.

CONFIRMATION OF ORDER

Confirmation of an order will only be sent when all details have been agreed with The Company and the first payment has been made. This forms a binding and legal contract between you and The Company. No addition or alteration to the order will be valid unless agreed in writing by The Company. All Fitting, plumbing, tiling, electrical and building work will not be included in the contract but will be detailed separately.

PAYMENT

Payment for product specified is 30% on order and balance 10 working days before delivery. The Company reserves the right to charge interest on any outstanding or overdue payments at 3% above the current UK base rate. In the event of late or non-payment and without affecting any other rights or remedies of The Company, The Company shall be entitled to either suspend delivery of the goods and their installation without notice and charge interest until all amounts owing (including accrued interest) have been paid in full or terminate the contract by notice to you in writing.

DELIVERY

Delivery date is scheduled upon deposit and receipt of order confirmation. Responsibility of the goods in relation to theft will pass to the client upon delivery.

INSTALLATION

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the site is ready for installation; details will be discussed with clients individually. Payment terms to the fitting team will be laid out for each project. The payment & works schedule will run in Tandem. No retention is allowed after satisfactory completion of works. A remedial, unfinished works list will be noted and agreed by all parties before final visit/s can take place. Any completion date is offered in good faith but is an estimated date. There will be no penalty clause.

COLOUR VARIATION

The customer will be shown a sample of a typical piece of furniture and worktop. Due to the nature of some of the timbers and worktops used there may be natural variations in colour and surface markings. No guarantee is given that the furniture and worktops supplied will be an exact replica.

We reserve the right repair, respray , touch up doors , panels etc, which will be to a high standard.

DAMAGES

Damages must be reported in writing within 48 hours of delivery. With supporting photos. Any item machined or fitted cannot be returned as is deemed as accepted by the fitters and or client. Fitters need to check all items for acceptable quality before they are fitted.

RETURNS

Returns can only be accepted for “off the shelf items” in original box (Fit to be restocked and resold) The suppliers re stocking charge will be applied – normally 20%.

All Kitchens & Bedrooms & any item made to order cannot be cancelled or returned after initial deposit is made.

CANCELLATION

Cancellation of orders will only be accepted if The Company has agreed in writing and on condition that you reimburse The Company all costs and expenses or losses and damages resulting from the cancellation. All items made to order cannot be cancelled after Initial deposit is made.

WARRANTY

All goods supplied by The Company are warranted free from defects. If, however there is a problem with any product resulting from a defect in the manufacturing or raw material, we will replace the item under the manufacturer’s warranty terms. This does not include labour or fitting costs.

Each issue is looked at on an individual case by case basis. No additional associated costs or compensation will be payable.

Furniture 5 years (subject to normal wear and tear) Note. Painted doors. Normal variable room temperatures may result in panel shrinkage and hairline cracks along the joints of the door. This is normal & does not warrant replacement.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

Blok Designs cannot be held liable in any respect for manufacturers, supplier delays. We will always do our best to find an alternative and keep the client informed at every step in the process.
